Wayne Quality Roofing is a roofing company based in Wayne, New Jersey, with more than 20 years in the trade. We repair, inspect and replace roofs on houses and small commercial buildings, from mid-century ranches and split-levels to lake houses and low-slope roofs on offices and shops.

What we have learned in that time is simple: most roofing problems are solved by finding the real cause before anyone picks up a hammer. That idea runs through everything we do, from a single leak call to a full replacement.

Our Approach

Every leak we are called about gets traced from the attic as well as the roof, so we know where water actually enters before we price anything. You hear a straight answer on whether the roof can be repaired before replacement is ever raised. When a new roof is the right call, our written scope lists tear-off, decking, underlayment, flashing, ventilation and gutters separately, so you can hold our number against anyone else’s line by line.

On the roof itself, we replace step, counter and chimney flashing rather than reusing the old metal, and we check attic ventilation on every replacement. Rotted decking found under the old shingles is photographed and shown to you before it is replaced, at a per-sheet price already set in the contract. Older capes, ranches and split-levels prone to ice dams get an eave membrane and a ventilation check, not just new shingles.

We also plan for the things that tend to surprise people. Wooded and lakeside lots have their overhanging limbs, leaf-packed valleys and mossy slopes named in the estimate. Solar panel removal and reinstall go on the schedule before the job starts, and townhouse and condominium owners get a check of the association’s documents to confirm who holds the roof before we write a price.

When storms hit, tarps and temporary repairs go on the same day after high winds, with photos taken before anything is moved. We write up storm damage for your own claim and will meet the insurance adjuster on site if you ask. Our contracts follow New Jersey’s home improvement rules, including the written three-day cancellation notice, and at the end of every work day the yard, driveway and gutters are cleaned and swept with a magnet for nails.
